Inside Loop 820 we're usually 20–35 minutes door-to-door. Off I-35W between downtown and Alliance we average about 25 minutes because we keep a truck rotating that corridor. Outer areas like Burleson, Keller, or far west Benbrook run 30–50 minutes. When you call we give you a real ETA based on where our closest truck actually is — not a canned promise.

Are you actually answering the phone at 3 a.m.?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A real dispatcher — not a call center in another time zone — picks up 24/7/365, including Christmas, New Year's, and every holiday in between. If it rings more than a minute call back; we've had a burst before and we'll pick up.

What ZIPs around Alliance, Keller, and Benbrook do you cover?

We run daily in 76052, 76244, 76248, 76262 (Alliance/Keller/Roanoke), 76108, 76126 (Benbrook/west), 76028 (Burleson), and everything inside Loop 820. If you're outside that we can usually still get to you — just ask when you call.

Do you dispatch out to accident scenes before the police clear it?

Accepted Answer

We come when you call, but we stage away from the scene and hook up after the officer on-site releases the vehicle. If your car is drivable off the shoulder we can also do a secondary tow from a nearby lot the next morning.

Do you charge extra overnight or on Cowboys / TCU game days?

Accepted Answer

A modest overnight surcharge applies between roughly 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. depending on distance. Game-day and Stockyards rodeo weekends aren't upcharged, but ETAs stretch because of traffic — we tell you before dispatch. Every quote is locked in on the phone before we roll.

What forms of payment do you take, and can I pay on-site?

Accepted Answer

Cash, all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Zelle. We run the card on-site with a mobile reader — no invoice-later, no deposits over the phone.

Do you provide an itemized receipt for insurance or AAA reimbursement?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We email a receipt with our DOT number, VIN, pickup and drop locations, mileage, and the service line-items — the format insurance carriers and AAA reimbursement claims ask for. Just give us the email at payment.

Do I need a membership or a monthly plan?

Accepted Answer

No. We're pay-as-you-go, one call, one flat quote. If you already carry AAA, Allstate, or a manufacturer roadside plan we can still respond and give you the paperwork to file for reimbursement.

My key fob battery is dead and the car won't unlock — can you still get me in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A dead fob is one of the most common lockout calls we take. We open the door with a long-reach and wedge kit — no damage — and most fobs have a mechanical key hidden inside the housing that we can pop out so you can start the car once you're in.

Yes, and those move to the front of the queue. Tell dispatch when you call — we bump you and stay on the line while the tech drives. No extra charge for the priority.

Can you unlock apartment garages, work trucks, or rental cars?

Accepted Answer

Yes to all three. Bring proof it's yours (lease, ID matching the registration, or the rental agreement on your phone) — we photograph it before opening. Rental agencies are used to this; most accept our paperwork with no follow-up.

Do you jump-start hybrids and EVs like a Prius or Tesla?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hybrids have a small 12V battery separate from the traction pack and it dies exactly like a regular car battery — we jump the 12V terminals under the hood or in the trunk. On Teslas we can jump the low-voltage battery through the frunk terminals; if the whole car is dead we tow flatbed with the wheels off the ground.

Can you replace my battery on the side of the road?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We stock the top group sizes for Fort Worth's most common cars and trucks (24F, 35, 47/H5, 48/H6, 65) on the truck, test your charging system first so we don't sell you a battery you don't need, and warranty the new one for two years.

My car cranks but won't start — is that still roadside?

Accepted Answer

Depends what's wrong. If it's fuel starvation, a loose ground, or a discharged battery masking the real issue we can often diagnose and get you moving. If it's a starter or fuel pump we tow you to your shop of choice at the roadside rate, not shop rate.

Can you change a flat if my wheel-lock key is missing?

Yes. We carry a master wheel-lock removal set that handles almost every OEM pattern on the road. If yours is a rare aftermarket lock we'll tell you on the phone and roll the flatbed instead so you can get to a shop that can drill it.

Accepted Answer

Yes. We run a light-duty wrecker with a 6-ton winch and snatch block, which handles almost every passenger vehicle stuck on the greenbelt trails, low-water crossings, or a soft shoulder off Beach Street. For anything heavier or truly buried we'll refer you to a heavy-duty partner and not waste your time.

Can you deliver enough gas to reach a station on I-30 or I-820?

Accepted Answer

We bring two gallons on every fuel run — enough to get any passenger car to the nearest station. If you need diesel we carry that too; just tell dispatch what you drive.

Is your tow transmission-safe for AWD and 4x4 vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AWD, 4x4, and any vehicle with a locked driveline goes on the flatbed with all four wheels off the ground — the only way to move it without cooking the transfer case or center differential. That's the default; you don't have to ask.

Do you tow motorcycles, lifted trucks, or low-clearance sports cars?

Accepted Answer

Motorcycles: yes, on a flatbed with soft straps and a wheel chock. Lifted trucks: yes, we adjust ramp angle and use extended straps. Low-clearance (Miata, GT-R, lowered Civic, Corvette): yes — we carry wood ramps and go slow so nothing scrapes. Tell dispatch when you call and we send the right rig.

Do you help rideshare drivers mid-shift?

Accepted Answer

All the time. Uber and Lyft drivers get priority routing during peak hours (weekend nights, DFW airport rushes) because we know every minute off the app costs you. Bring your driver profile for the receipt and we'll format it for a platform reimbursement claim.

Can you tow to a dealership after hours and leave the keys in the drop-box?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We do dealership drop-offs every week — Autobahn, Moritz, Frank Kent, Five Star, and the Alliance corridor stores. We photograph the drop location, drop the keys in the night box (or a lockbox you designate), and text you a confirmation photo.

Do you tow semi-trucks or box trucks?

Accepted Answer

No — anything Class 7/8 (semi-tractors, loaded box trucks over 26k GVWR) needs a heavy-duty wrecker. We'll give you a direct number to a Fort Worth heavy operator we trust rather than send you fishing on Google.
