Roadside Problem
My Battery Is Dead — Now What?
Dead battery? We'll jump you on-site or bring a new one.
Typical arrival 20–35 min in Fort Worth
Do this right now
- Turn off all accessories — headlights, radio, A/C — before trying to start it again.
- If it won't crank at all, the battery is likely dead. Don't keep trying, you'll drain what's left.
- Call for a jump start or, if the battery is old, a replacement.
What's usually going on
Texas heat is brutal on batteries — 3–4 years is a normal Texas battery lifespan. Other causes: leaving lights on, a slow parasitic drain from an accessory, or an alternator that isn't charging properly while you drive.
How we fix it
We jump start on-site with professional jump packs, then test the battery and alternator to tell you if you need a new battery. If you do, we can install one right there.
